We are proud to introduce our newly refurbished cottage set within the overall curtilage of Coswarth House. The cottage has been the subject of a year-long £100k+ refurbishment and the brief was to make it ‘the best cottage in Padstow’. Only our guests will be able to judge... but we are extremely pleased to say that we are very happy with the end result.
Please note that the cottage may appear to be booked as it is also offered by third parties. PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY FOR DETAILS IF YOUR CHOSEN DATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Costs start from £200 per night (mid-week) and £250 per night (weekends).
The cottage benefits from a 2-storey open plan living space that includes:
Lovely views across the Camel Estuary
A luxury bathroom with a roll-top bath and ‘his and hers’ walk in electronically controlled showers
A luxury kitchen / lounge with a Rangemaster cooker (The kitchen is equipped with a full range of accessories)

Coswarth House & The Cottage are much-loved historic buildings and the owners have lavished much time, effort and investment in creating beautiful spaces for their guests to enjoy. We, therefore, request a cautionary deposit which protects the owners, their personal belongings, and the beautiful properties they share with guests. The cautionary deposit is your acceptance that you understand that you are responsible for the property during your stay and that if damage does occur, you will be accountable for covering the cost of repair. We respectfully ask that that you notify us should any damage happen so that it can be remedied in time for the next guests. We endeavour to return the cautionary deposit to you as soon as possible after you leave the property. This is usually within 14 days (via Bank Transfer) unless the cleaning staff have flagged an issue.
We have included a very comfortable sofa bed in the downstairs living area.
The open plan nature of the accommodation makes it unsuitable for 2 couples as privacy is not an option!
The property would suit the following:
2/3 sharing who are not concerned about privacy
A couple with one or 2 children
2 singles who require a bed each
Where the second bed is used and occupied by either 1 or 2 people we will charge a supplement of £60 per person per stay.
We will obviously clean the cottage between stays, however, we ask that the cooker is left in the condition in which it is found and all trays lined with foil prior to departure. Dirty crockery and cutlery should be placed in the dishwasher.
During your stay, you will have the option to retain your privacy or have a daily cleaning service.
Please also note: The Cottage has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard so we regret to inform our potential guests that all damages must be paid for. By entering into a contract with us you also enter into an arrangement whereby the cost of all damages will be reimbursed to the owners.
